Our director, Adrienne Katz FRSA has many years of experience, leading a wide range of projects from design to delivery.
Youthworks undertakes evaluation, facilitates young people's input, undertakes interviews with agencies and schools to obtain the views of staff.
We can offer online survey tools, with questionnaire design, statistical analysis and reporting.
Focus groups, workshops and face to face or telephone interviews are undertaken.

The Cybersurvey, exploring cyberbullying and e-safety among young people aged 10 -16+. There are currently over 17,000 respondents in 8 local authority areas. This online survey explores the experiences of young people online and on mobiles. It looks at cyberbullying and various forms of aggression, as well as the quality of e-safety education the young people have received and whether or not they actually follow it. This survey  has run for 6  years and the results have been presented in a book with useful tools for schools.

Background and experience 
Youthworks director Adrienne Katz first led and participated in teams doing research with young people in 1998. She pioneered youth participation ethics and methods, of evaluating services and helping them comply with the UNCRC Article 12.

This work involved negotiating, designing and leading programmes of work for  local authorities or agencies; delivering on time and to budget, while conforming to an ethics policy. As founder of the charity Young Voice, Adrienne led the organisation from 1999 - 2008. The charity's team took on commissioned work to explore the views of young people. For Youthworks, Adrienne continues to undertake projects which explore the experiences and views of young people.

Adrienne worked for 6 years for the Anti Bullying Alliance, serving as Regional Co-ordinator for the 14 local authorities of the West Midlands.

Youthworks was founded in 2008 and has undertaken consultancy work for clients as various as:
